CHICAGO -- Ji had a childhood dream of getting up close to a dolphin. The Shedd Aquarium made that dream come true.
Ji visited the Shedd for their "Trainer for a Day" program, where she found out all about the beautiful creatures that the aquarium studies and cares for. She also got to touch a Pacific White Sided dolphin.
The experience includes a half day of learning what goes into making the food for the 32,000 inhabitants of the Shedd, as well as how the trainers care for and train the beluga whales, sea otters, seals and of course the dolphins.
One lucky studio audience member received a gift certificate for one "Trainer for a Day" experience, but Windy City LIVE didn't want to leave anyone out! Head to the WCL Facebook page to sign up for a chance to win a "Trainer for a Day" experience, which is valued at $350.

Ji also got to meet the newest addition to the aquarium's dolphin family, a six-month-old male calf born to Piquet.
ABC7 partnered with the Shedd to have you name this bouncing baby boy! Participants can submit votes all week at www.abc7chicago.com/shedd or www.sheddaquarium.org.
