Governor-elect Rauner, Pastor Brooks hand out Thanksgiving turkeys

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Governor-Elect Bruce Rauner helped to hand out Thanksgiving turkeys on Chicago's South Side Sunday.

Rauner joined Pastor Corey Brooks at New Beginnings Church in the Woodlawn neighborhood to give away more than 3,500 turkeys, as well as traditional sides to help families enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.

Brooks was one of Rauner's major supporters in his election campaign.
