Swearing-in begins new term for Cook County Board

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A swearing in ceremony marked the new term now underway for the cook county board.

Toni Preckwinkle was sworn in as president of the 17-member board.

There are two new commissioners this year.

One of the biggest tasks for the board will be fixing the county's pension funds.
