Woman pulled from Lake Michigan on North Side, critically injured: CFD
A 29-year-old woman was pulled from Lake Michigan in a water rescue Sunday near Belmont Harbor and critically injured, Chicago fire officials said.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago Fire Department divers pulled a woman from Lake Michigan Sunday on the city's North Side.

The water rescue happened around 3:20 p.m. in the 3100 block of North Lake Shore Drive near Belmont Harbor in Lakeview, CFD officials said.

A 29-year-old woman was reported to be in distress in the water at the location.

CFD diving crews responded and pulled the woman from the lake. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

No further information was immediately available.
