3 hospitalized after boat capsizes in Lake Michigan near Kenwood: CFD

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were hospitalized after a boat capsized along the Chicago lakefront on Monday evening, the Chicago Fire Department said.

CFD said seven passengers were on the boat near the 4400-block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive in the city's Kenwood neighborhood.

Everyone involved is now out of Lake Michigan.

CFD said three people were taken to local hospitals in good condition, and four others refused medical treatment.

Officials did not immediately provide further information.
