CHICAGO (WLS) -- The dragonfly population is surging in Chicago. You may have seen them swarming around the lakefront this week.

A video posted to YouTube from Rogers Park shows them flying together by the dozens.

This year's wet spring lead to lots of mosquitoes, which the dragonflies feed on.

The dragonflies are most noticeable at dawn and dusk near the lake, docks and ponds.
