Fiesta del Sol returns to Chicago's Pilsen Neighborhood

CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's almost here, the largest Latino Festival in the Midwest returns to Chicago on July 30, 2015. The 43rd annual Fiesta del Sol will be held in the Pilsen community. The four day, free, family-friendly summer festival supports the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council's annual scholarship program, community organizing and educational programs.

Fiesta del Sol brings together live music, food, a college fair, immigration workshops, soccer tournaments, and workshops The festival runs from Thursday, July 30th through Sunday, August 2nd. It is free to attend. Senorita Fiesta del Sol winner, Vilma Cardona, and Immigration Legal Clinic Organizer, Jonathan Lopez, visited with ABC 7 Eyewitness News to preview the event.
