ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- Actor, film director and musician Gary Sinise, an Illinois native, is inviting you to join him in supporting service members. His INSPIRATION to ACTION luncheon is on Aug. 3. Proceeds will benefit the Gary Sinise Foundation and its mission to honor veterans, first responders, their families and those in need.
Greg "G-Man" Dellinger, director of Government Affairs, AAR CORP., came into our ABC 7 Eyewitness News studio to tell us about the event. He even brought a signed Gary Sinise bass guitar with him, which is one of many live charity auction items. The Master of Ceremonies is comedian Tom Dreesen.
