Loyola Medical Center hosts third annual Hope and Heroes 5K
Loyola Medical Center is hosting its third annual Hope and Heroes 5K and Children's Hero Hustle.

MAYWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- The Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital at Loyola University Medical Center is a full-service hospital focused on families. Doctors, nurses and staff help children lead healthy, active lives.

On Sunday, June 8, 2014, Loyola's 3rd Annual Health, Hope & Heroes 5K Run/Walk and Children's Hero Hustle took place in west suburban Maywood to raise funds for the hospital. Eyewitness News reporter John Garcia was part of the race. He interviewed Kevin Wills, father of Owen, who was treated at Loyola's Ronald McDonald Children's Hospital, and Larry Goldberg, President and CEO of Loyola University Health System, live during our ABC 7 Eyewitness News Sunday Morning.
