Midwest Youth of the Year group honored in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A group of remarkable teens were honored in Chicago Thursday night.

The teens are part of the Boys and Girls Clubs' "Midwest Youth of the Year" celebration.

Abria Franklin from Holland, Mich., will move on to the national event in Washington and will also receive a $10,000 scholarship.

ABC7 General Manager John Idler was a judge and presenter.
