New virtual reality ride cooming to at Six Flags Great America

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- There's a new ride coming to Six Flags Great America in north suburban Gurnee that features an attack by mutant spiders.

On Drop of Doom VR, guests will come face to face with giant spiders as they plunge into a 100-foot free fall.

The new virtual reality ride opens April 29.
