CHICAGO (WLS) -- With just months to live, one woman got the thrill of a lifetime at a Barbara Streisand concert in Chicago Tuesday night.
Sandra Westmoreland, 61, flew to Chicago from Tennessee to hear her favorite singer. Westmoreland has been given three months to live after a long battle with lung cancer.
She said the concert at the University of Chicago was a dream come true.
"I'm getting ready to see Barbara, something I've wanted to do since I was 13 years old. Of course I cried, and I had to go fix my makeup," Westmoreland said.
The trip was made possibly the Dream Foundation, an organization that does good deeds for terminally ill adults.
