Former Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed doesn't know if the Ravens currently have a leader who can rally the team in the aftermath of the Ray Rice saga.

Appearing on an episode of Showtime's "Inside the NFL" that aired Tuesday, Reed was asked who he believed to be the soul of the Ravens.

"I'm sitting right here," Reed said.

Reed acknowledged the Ravens have leaders on the team, including some veterans who were added this year.

"I think the whole team has to rally around themselves as a group," Reed said. "They have to talk among themselves and say this is our team at the end of the day. It's not the organization so much the people upstairs. It has to be the team that sticks up."

Asked who in the locker room can say those exact words, Reed said, "I'm sitting right here with y'all."

Reed said there is "definitely a different mentality" on the Ravens since he left.

"Of course things change," he said. "Teams grow, people grow. So it's a different mentality that they have around there."
