TAMPA, Fla. -- There is a time to rest and divulge specific injuries, but that time hasn't arrived yet for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Blackhawks forwards Marcus Kruger and Bryan Bickell each sat out stretches against the Anaheim Ducks in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals on Saturday due to injuries, but neither player wanted to talk much about their injuries on Tuesday. Both said they're good to go for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals on Wednesday.

Bickell didn't play after the first period and sat on the bench the final two periods on Saturday. He said he told Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville it was best he didn't play the remainder of the game. Bickell described the injury as being "everywhere."

"I just didn't feel 100 percent to go," Bickell said. "We talked between periods. I didn't want to risk the team to not be in the right spot. We decided to have a seat and everything work out and now we're here. ... I'm sure everyone's battling through things to get through."

Kruger had a similar answer. He didn't the play final 6:07 of the third period after taking a big hit.

"I think everyone is going to be a little banged up after the long year," Kruger said Tuesday. "It's the same for everyone, I think."

Both players participated in the team's practice Tuesday.
