Country Music Night is coming to Guaranteed Rate Field in a few weeks, and Chicago White Sox outfielder Melky Cabrera is very excited about it.

To promote the upcoming event, Cabrera appeared in a funny video where he used a guitar to smash a baseball. There's also a quick cameo from manager Rick Renteria.

This isn't the first time Cabrera has donned his alter ego, "Cowboy Melky."

According to CSN Chicago, Cabrera is known as the White Sox's clubhouse clown and enjoys being the team's funny guy.

"I like to do funny things and be kind of a clown because that's the way you can make the guys happy and create a relaxed atmosphere," the 32-year-old outfielder said. "This is a very long season, and of course it's our job, but it's also a game to enjoy. You have to have some kind of joy in the long season, and there are some rough moments you're going to pass through. That's why you always have to do something else, try something different, something funny to make your teammates relaxed and loose."

In 55 games this season, Cabrera is hitting .258 with six home runs and 31 RBIs.
