The NFL will announce its 2015 game schedule Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET, the league confirmed Monday.

Opponents for all 32 teams have been known since the end of the 2014 regular season, but placing the games in order requires nearly four months of computer simulations before the league gets a finished product that works.

Broadcast requirements, stadium availability and competitive balance are among factors the NFL considers.

The most pressing news will be to determine the New England Patriots' opponent for the annual NFL Kickoff game, which will take place at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 10.

ESPN will televise a two-hour SportsCenter special Tuesday beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

The NFL has already announced the matchups and dates of the three games that will be played in London this season. The New York Jets will play the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 4, the Buffalo Bills face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 25 and the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions meet on Nov. 1. All three games at Wembley Stadium will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET.
