Two Chicagoans run seven marathons, on seven continents, in seven days

Have you stressed about running one marathon? These two Chicagoans just ran seven marathons in seven days on seven different continents.

Sarah Ames, a Lawyer, and Daniel Cartica, a former U.S. Marine Corps Captain, joined 13 other participants from around the world to take part in the World Marathon Challenge. Daniel decided to run after five Marines were killed in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He wanted to run to honor those men. Sarah decided to run to raise awareness of Amlin Fistula, which is an organization dedicated to offering medical care to mothers in Ethiopia.
