It seems Facebook is not as cool as it used to be among teenagers.

Just 88 percent of teens between 13-17 now use Facebook - that's down from 94 percent last year, according to a report from consulting firm Frank Magid and Associates.

Twitter and messaging apps like Snap Chat have become more popular.

Facebook had no comment on the report, but analysts say the decline in teen Facebook usage might have to do with security concerns.

Only nine percent of those surveyed view the social network was safe or trustworthy.
