Chicago Thanksgiving traffic at its worst Wednesday afternoon, Google Maps says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Google Maps has some interesting suggestions on how to deal with traffic over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

It says the worst time for Thanksgiving traffic in Chicago is between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. So, the best time to leave that day is before 2 p.m. or after 6 p.m.

When it is time to head home, the Google traffic survey says Sunday has less traffic than Saturday.
