Daniel Gluckman charged in Logan Square hit-and-run

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago man was charged late Wednesday in connection with a hit-and-run accident that injured a pedestrian in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.

Police say Daniel Gluckman, 34, struck a pedestrian in the 2700-block of North Hamlin Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police were able to identify the vehicle shortly after the incident.

After a brief chase, police arrested Gluckman near West LeMoyne Street and North Monticello Avenue in the city's Humboldt Park neighborhood, about two miles from where the pedestrian was hit.

The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. He is expected to recover.
