The Justice Park District has canceled its day camp until Monday following the death of a 6-year-old camper.

Lifeguards pulled Michael Duda from the water during a Tuesday outing to the Bridgeview Park District swimming pool. He was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, but did not survive. His death was ruled an accidental drowning.

The Justice Park District released a statement saying it places the highest priority on the safety and security of each child.
