CHICAGO (WLS) -- Four days after severe storms struck the Chicago area, 2,500 ComEd customers remain without power.

About 1,200 crews from ten states came to Illinois to help the utility company mare repairs and restore service.

At the height of the power outages, Com Ed said as many as 400,000 customers were without electricity. Officials also said the damage from Monday's severe weather was the worst they have seen in the last three years.
