Woman sues security after man allegedly assaults her in Loop elevator

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman is suing the companies that provide security at the famous Rookery building in the Loop after she was allegedly followed into an elevator and sexually assaulted.

Her lawyers said the companies providing security at the building should have done more to prevent the attack on May 5.

Robert Skipper, 29, has been charged with several counts, including criminal sexual abuse.

ABC7 Eyewitness News reached out to the security company but have not yet heard back.
