Motorcycle driver killed in crash ID'd by Franklin Park police

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- A motorcycle driver was killed in a crash in the northwest suburbs on Monday morning, police said.

The crash happened at about 2 a.m. on Monday near Belmont and Mannheim, Franklin Park police said.

Police said a man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Mannheim when it crashed with a car also heading northbound.

The motorcycle driver died after the crash, police said. He was identified as Alfonso M. Murillo, 35, of Schiller Park, police said.

Area roads were closed as police investigated. All roads were reopened by 10:20 a.m.
