OTTAWA, Ill. (WLS) -- The body of a Naperville man swept away by an Illinois River current Saturday while cooling off has been identified.

A half-mile east of the Illini Park boat ramp in Seneca, Alberto Rodriguez, 35, was swept away about 4:20 p.m. after jumping in from an anchored boat.

Police say Rodriguez's body was found Tuesday in the Illinois River just west of Allen Park in Ottawa, Ill. He was pronounced dead at 12:05 p.m.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.

Rodriguez, a father and business owner, was out with his family in the boat, authorities said.

Rodriguez's wife issued a statement during the search, saying, "We are praying and hope that those searching for my husband remain committed to conducting this search and returning my husband to me and our children."
