Police investigating after man, woman found dead in LaPorte County

LAPORTE, Ind. (WLS) -- Two people were found dead in northwest Indiana on Saturday night, officials said.

The LaPorte County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a property in the 11000 West-block of CR 1500 South.

Patricia J. Rosenbaum and Todd A. Rosenbaum, both 60-year-olds of Wanatah, were found dead.

How they died was not immediately clear, but investigators believe the deaths were an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.

Detectives with the sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources' Law Enforcement Division are investigating.
