Recipe: Craisinly Delicious Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 packed brown sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup softended butter NOT MARGARINE
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 package of butterscotch chips
1 cup craisins
1 good squeeze of honey
Pre-heat oven to 375. Mix all ingredients except flour, oats, craisins, and butterscotch chips. Stir in oats, flour, craisins, and butterscotch chips. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
