CHICAGO (WLS) -- A body recovered from Lake Michigan on the North Side has been identified as that of an 18-year-old Aurora teenager who fell into water in February, according to Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Ivan Echevarria was a senior at East Aurora High School.
On Feb. 25, Echevarria was with friends, walking on a jetty at Diversey Harbor, when he was swept into the water by a huge wave, officials said. He had came to the lakefront with friends to check out the big waves.
On Monday morning, officials were notified of a body in the lake.
