BROOKFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Chicago's Brookfield Zoo is getting a $1 million investment in improvements designed for people with disabilities.

Governor Pat Quinn announced the new funding provided by his "Illinois Jobs Now" program.

The money will help build a new facility that will give children and adults with disabilities a unique opportunity to interact with animals.
