Former CPD Supt. Garry McCarthy reacts to recent shootings

CHICAGO -- Former Chicago Police Department Superintendent, Garry McCarthy, shared his insight on the recent shootings in Texas, Minnesota and Louisiana on Windy City Live Friday.

McCarthy said the county, not just Chicago, is reaching a level of "lawlessness."

"We really have to take a deep breath as a country, start identifying what the issues are and addressing them, and having legitimate conversations," he said.

The former Chicago top cop was also live on ABC7 at 11 a.m. on Friday.
