CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some Chicago kids may be hoping we don't have a white Christmas so they can get out and ride their new bikes.
Dozens of bikes, televisions and other toys were given to families in need during Saturday's "Christmas in the Wards" celebration.
The event was started by businessman Larry Huggins as "Christmas in Englewood."
Community and business leaders have joined in and organizers say they want to make sure children don't experience the sadness of not receiving a single toy for Christmas.
