Disney VoluntEARS, Boys and Girls Club give backpacks to students

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A group of Disney "VoluntEARs" worked to give Chicago students what they need to succeed this school year.

The group teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago for a "Stuff a Backpack" drive. The bags were stuffed with school supplies.

The backpacks were distributed Thursday to students at Legacy Charter School in North Lawndale.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7 Chicago.
