Frontier announces 1-day sale on flights from Chicago starting at $14.99

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Frontier Airlines has announced that it is expanding service from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport with the addition four new non-stop destinations beginning Dec. 20, bringing the total number of destinations served to 11.

The airline also announced a one-day only sale from Chicago to new destinations Las Vegas, Miami, and Tampa, Fla., with fares from $14.99 one-way only at FlyFrontier.com. Introductory fares of $59 - $69 one-way will be available for purchase through Oct. 6, the airline said.

Flights will take off from Chicago O'Hare to Las Vegas (LAS) and Tampa, Fla. (TPA), beginning Dec. 20, to Miami (MIA) on Dec. 21. Service and fares to Philadelphia (PHL) will be announced in the coming weeks with service to begin in spring 2015, the airline said.

Frontier currently offers service from O'Hare to Atlanta (ATL); Cleveland (CLE); Denver (DEN); Orlando, Fla. (MCO); Phoenix (PHX); Salt Lake City (SLC); and Washington (IAD). Once Frontier's schedule is fully implemented in March 2015, Frontier will offer an average of 71 weekly departures, the airline said. Frontier also currently serves Trenton, N.J (TTN) from Chicago Midway (MDW).
