Gun buyback on Chicago's South Side pays $100 for every firearm turned in

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dozens of firearms are off the streets after a gun buyback event held on Chicago's South Side Saturday.

Saint Sabina Catholic Church hosted the event with the Chicago Police Department.

They paid $100 for each gun turned in, with no questions asked.
