JOHNSBURG, Ill. (WLS) -- A man who died in a swimming incident on the Chain of Lakes has been identified.

William L. Trybula, 49, of Melrose Park died after he was pulled from Pistakee Lake Sunday afternoon, the McHenry County Coroner said.

An autopsy was performed Monday morning. Toxicology results are pending, but the coroner said the findings were consistent with drowning.

He jumped from a boat into the water to swim, but the boat drifted away during very high winds.

Two friends swimming with him were able to make it to shore.
