Man charged in 2 separate murders of woman, girl in East Side neighborhood due in court, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 21-year-old Chicago man is expected in court Wednesday after being charged in two separate murders of young women.

Anthony Nunnally of Chicago has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Police said Nunnally killed 17-year-old Gabriela Arellano in the East Side neighborhood's 11000-block of South Mackinaw Avenue on October 29, 2025.

Nunnally has also been charged in a shooting that killed 19-year-old Sierra Evans in the 9500 block of S. Avenue N, in the East Side neighborhood on September 28, 2024.

Nunnally was taken into custody Monday. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
