Logan Square residents protest new housing development

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Protesters gathered in Logan Square to speak up against a new development in their neighborhood that some say is forcing them out of their homes.

Several families say their homes in the 2300-block of North California will be demolished to make way for a luxury apartment building.

They're calling on Alderman Joe Moreno to stop the construction.

ABC 7 was unable to reach anyone from Moreno's office. The developer had no comment.
