CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two teens were among six people wounded in a shooting at a South Side coin laundry Monday night.

It happened at Horizon Plaza, a strip mall on 79th Street between Marquette and Saginaw, shortly after 8 p.m. Monday night. Police said some of the victims were found inside the laundromat.

The youngest victim is a 14-year-old child, fire officials said. That child was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in serious to critical condition. Chicago police say another teen was also injured in the shooting. The other victims ranged in age from their mid-20s to mid-50s.

Witnesses said they heard several shots.

"It sounded almost like fireworks, and I looked out my bedroom window and I see some young guys running. I don't know if they were victims or if they were the perpetrators," said Matthew Gills, witness.

Chicago police are investigating. No one is in custody.
