CHICAGO (WLS) -- The death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia could impact former Governor Rod Blagojevich's last chance at having his corruption conviction overturned.

Blagojevich's attorney says Scalia's past rulings suggested he might have been willing to hear the case, but now that's all up in the air with just eight justices.

Blagojevich is currently serving a 14-year prison sentence in Colorado for corruption.
