Strong storms bring heavy rain, high winds, damage to parts of area
An AccuWeather Alert was in effect Wednesday for much of the Chicago area with strong storms in the forecast. While they were fast-moving, high winds left trees and power lines scattered across parts of Northwest Indiana.
