Play-Doh controversy
Play-Doh is offering to change out a controversial item in its Cake Mountain playset

Hasbro, the maker of Play-Doh, is under fire for the extruder tool included with its Cake Mountain play set.

Many parents began posting on Hasbro's social media accounts claiming the cake-decorating item resembles a man's private parts. Some parents even say it ruined their Christmas.

"It's pretty phallic. It's a pretty phallic cake decorating piece, not necessary, I don't think," one parent told KTUL-TV.

"I guess a kid wouldn't know," another parent said.

Play-Doh responded on their Facebook page with a statement to parents:

"We have heard some consumer feedback about the extruder tool in the Play-Doh Cake Mountain playset and are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool," the statement reads.

Anyone who already purchased the set and wants a replacement is asked to contact Hasbro's Customer Service Department at 800-327-8264.
