Police: Missing 8-year-old boy found at North Side CTA Red Line station

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 8-year-old boy who was missing after boarding a CTA Red Line train has been found Friday morning, Chicago police said.

Police were notified around 5 a.m. about the missing child. Police said the boy may have gotten onto a CTA Red Line train without his father at the North/Clybourn station.

Police searched Red Line trains at different stops before locating him at the Howard Red Line station.
