$10K reward offered in beloved boater's death at Chicago harbor

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Cook County Crimestoppers is offering a $10,000 reward to find the suspect or suspects involved in the homicide death of a beloved boat captain at DuSable Harbor.

Nabil Abzal, or "Captain Bill" as he was known, of Plainfield was found dead last month in Lake Michigan, Chicago police said.

Abzal's friends said he was attacked while his boat was docked.

Police have not confirmed what might have led up to the alleged murder, but the owner of a nearby restaurant told ABC7 that they have given police surveillance footage as part of the homicide investigation.

So far, Chicago police say no one has been arrested.
