2 found dead in Michigan City home, police say juvenile in custody

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (WLS) -- Michigan City police are investigating a double homicide on Sunday.

At about 1:11 a.m. officials responded to a 911 call regarding a crash at the intersection of Johnson Road and County Road West 300 North in LaPorte, police said.

A juvenile was involved in the cras. Police learned that that juvenile was the suspect of a double homicide.

About 15 minutes later, police responded to a welfare check at a home in the 100-block of Schofield Court, police said.

Two adults were found dead inside the home from foul play, police said.

The male juvenile was taken into custody.

No other information regarding the victims' ages or genders was released.
