2 killed in West Pullman shooting, crash, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were killed in a shooting and crash in the West Pullman neighborhood Sunday night, Chicago police said.

The shooting took place at about 10:09 p.m. in the 12100-block of South Harvard Avenue.

Police said two male victims were found with gunshot wounds inside a black sedan that had crashed into a tree.

A 20-year-old man who was the driver was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The other victim, whose age was not known, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No other injuries were reported and Area Two detectives are investigating.
