
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were injured in a stabbing on a CTA Red Line train on the South Side Wednesday morning, Chicago police said.
The incident took place on a train at about 1:26 a.m. in the 200-block of West 47th Street.
Police said the victims were approached by a male suspect and after a verbal altercation, the suspect took out a sharp object and attacked the victims.
Both victims were punctured in the neck and transported to hospitals, where they were each listed in fair condition.
Area One detectives are investigating.
