3 CTA bus passengers injured in West Town hit-and-run, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people on a CTA bus were injured in a hit-and-run crash in West Town Friday morning, Chicago police said.

The crash occurred at about 1:48 a.m. in the 400-block of North Western Avenue.

Police said a gray truck traveling west on Grand Avenue struck the bus and then fled the scene. The vehicle was later found unoccupied, police said.

Three passengers on the bus were transported to hospital with minor injuries, police said.
