
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were seriously injured in a South Side crash early Saturday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said the crash happened in the Bronzeville neighborhood at East Pershing Road and South Calumet Avenue just after 5 a.m.
A 20-year-old woman was driving a grey Nissan Altima westbound on Pershing Road when she lost control of the vehicle and hit an unoccupied parked black Toyota Tacoma, police said. The Toyota then hit a blue Ford Focus, which was also parked and unoccupied.
Police said the driver and two passengers were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center with serious injuries.
CPD's Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the crash.
