NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Four juveniles were arrested Monday in west suburban Naperville, after a large crowd gathered downtown, police said.
NPD said they are aware of a video circulating of about 300 teens and young adults gathered downtown Naperville.
The juveniles were arrested for battery, police said. Some were cited for trespassing and violating city ordinances, police said.
Naperville school districts 203 and 204 are on spring break this week.
Police asked the public to, "dissuade teens and young adults from attending these large gatherings, which are typically organized on social media and often end up involving criminal or dangerous behavior."
In Hyde Park Monday, a teen girl was arrested and cars were vandalized as teenagers were seen jumping from car to car, witnesses said.
Chicago officials have gone back and forth on possibly changing their curfew law to curb so-called "teen takeovers."
