Actress Lily Collins thanks Chicago jeweler after engagement ring stolen years ago found

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Actress Lily Collins is thanking a Chicago company, after they recovered her engagement ring three years after it was stolen.

The $80,000 diamond ring was taken from a spa in West Hollywood.

The owner of Joe the Jeweler downtown Chicago says he bought the ring recently at a trade show. Then, after a few weeks, realized it was Collins'.

"So sweet to deal with, I'm just like blessed that I got to get this ring in my hands and send it back to them and get their heirloom back in their possession. That was so special to them," he said.

Collins, who stars in "Emily in Paris" on Netflix, thanked the store owners on social media for returning her ring.
